Zoë Kim (Writer/performer) (she/her) is a Korean-American storyteller based in NYC who is passionate about creating art that encourages humanity, compassion, and kindness. She is the founder of Seoulful Productions, a Korean-American women-led 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose primary mission is to tell the stories of the Korean-American diaspora for theater, TV, and film. As an actor, her recent credits include Eureka Day, Motherf**ker with the Hat, The Winter’s Tale (Shakespeare’s Globe in London), 4000 Miles, The King’s Language (world premiere), and No Returns (AFI Film). As a writer, her play Did You Eat? will have its world premiere at the 2023 Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Edinburgh, Scotland. She also wrote screenplays for Phone Call, Meet Me at a Funeral (MMF), Say, Do You Wanna Be White?, and multiple episodes of Blue Match Comedy. As a filmmaker, MMF and Phone Call became official selections at various film festivals and have won her numerous awards including EMERGING FILMMAKER, BEST COMEDY, and BEST LEAD PERFORMANCE. Chris Yejin (Director) is a first-generation Korean American who has been working steadily for both theater and film. Strongly influenced by both Korean and American cultures, she has assimilated her experiences and given them a voice through her work. As a director and writer, she helmed the world premieres of the original play The King’s Language at Hollywood Fringe Festival (Encore Award 2017), musical I Do for You at the Complex Theater in Hollywood, Your Final Moment at Group PAN; Three Girls, Their Dreams, The War at Korean Cultural Center; and Ahn’s Three Daughters/Midnight Romance/His Ladies at Space GG/PAN in Los Angeles. As an actor, she performed in Ms. Purple (Sundance 2019), Joy Joy Nail Salon (Tribeca 2017), Spa Night (Sundance 2016), and DOL (Sundance 2012). She is currently involved in several Korean-American storytelling projects as the strong bridge of two cultures.

Kayla Kim Votapek 김난주 (Producer) is an anti-racist facilitator and creative producer who specializes in anti-racism work through the lens of intersectionality. She is currently using the power of storytelling to educate, cultivate action steps, and encourage healing that moves us towards liberation. She works closely with individuals who are a part of the mixed race/multicultural community and mixed families (ie. adoption, multi-generation, multiracial parents, interracial relationships, upbringing). Kayla is currently facilitating and providing support to many art organizations across the USA with Nicole Brewer, Equity Quotient, and artEquity. In addition, she is the associate director of Rutgers Summer Acting Conservatory where she created a course that encourages high school actors to explore their identity through their craft. She is also a proud board member of ArtPride NJ. Previously, Kayla was the associate producer at the Tony Award® winning Crossroads Theatre Company. As a producer and arts administrator, she has had the pleasure of working with numerous award-winning organizations and companies such as The Broadway League, The American Theatre Wing, Rutgers University, Theatre Communication Group, TADA! Youth Theatre, New Jersey Theatre Alliance, Ohio University, and Improbable. Through authenticity and boldness, she strives to encourage determination, openness, trust, and bravery by bringing a sense of community to everyone. Her ambition is to nurture, educate, and support growth, both creatively and personally. Kayla inspires to make a difference in the world by creating art and facilitating gatherings that tell intersectional stories and assist others on their personal journey in life.
